Eight years ago Kevin Quaranta pledged to bring our courts into the 21st Century and make them more accessible. And he has worked diligently to do exactly that. While presiding over cases in one of the busiest town courts in the state Kevin has also implemented reforms in jury service, DWI sentencing, introducing mediation, evening sessions for greater access, as well as student intern and law programs.

Now, Kevin pledges to continue this extraordinary effort and work hard to bring the ease of electronic filing and interaction to the court, reorganize court staff, ensure courtesy, compassion and consideration and maintain the high ideals we share for our court.

Kevin brings experience and innovation to our Town Court to make it more responsive to our residents’ needs:

  • Eight years as a highly successful Town Justice
  • Attorney with more than 25 years of trial experience, Bar leader and founder of a private law practice
  • Former Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx
  • Captain in the Army Reserves who served during the first Persian Gulf War as a member of the Army’s legal division, the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG)
  • Kevin and his wife, Judy, live in Bedford Village and have had three children in the Bedford Central School District
