Brethren barrister offers endorsement for Judge Kevin Quaranta as Bedford justice

To the Editor:

As a practicing attorney in the community for 17 years, I write this letter in support of our incumbent judicial candidate Kevin J. Quaranta, in his bid for a second term as Bedford Town Justice.

As a bretheran barrister it is with a certain rarity that in this day in age one comes across an individual whose dedication and commitment to the profession is superseded only by his sense of justice and fairness with which he routinely conducts his Court.

Judge Quaranta has time and again proven his commitment to the bench as well as his commitment to education, our youth and community. It is a familiar site and quite common  in his Court to see a troop of boy scouts or high school teens taking notes or receiving explanation from Judge Quaranta himself while conducting Court.  It is also not surprising to know that Judge Quaranta has been instrumental in the success of Law Day at Fox Lane High School.

While Judge Quaranta makes his bid for a second term as Bedford Town Court on the Democratic party line, his conduct and the manner in which he comports himself  both on and off the bench, transcends party lines as far as your writer, a long time registered  Republican, is concerned.

Judge Quaranta is truly a crown jewel of our legal profession as well as valued  member of our local community. I am certain that he will continue to be an asset to both the bench and our community.
