Quaranta and Gabrielson deserve your vote on Nov. 6

To the Editor:

Bedford residents have a unique opportunity in the upcoming election to infuse new energy and ideas into town government by adding Chris Burdick and David Gabrielson to the town board.  Chris’s experience on the wetland commission and other planning committees gives him the command of issues that voters would be wise to put to great use.  David’s “day job” has brought him into contact with myriad local governments to assess critical infrastructure needs such as water and sewer facilities, highways, etc.  Likewise, he has the practical skills as well as the passion to make a positive difference.
Judge Quaranta has done a noteworthy job on the bench.  As incumbent, he should be allowed to continue the great work he began four years ago, in particular his Justice 21 program, which brings the workings of the court system to students through programs at the high school and court internships.

And as a member of the county legislature, Pete Harckham will work hard with county, state, and other partners to protect our drinking water.  He has proven ability to lead and to work collaboratively to achieve results.

Let’s put these candidates to work.  They are more than ready and willing, they are also clearly able.
