Cast your vote for candidates Kevin Quaranta, Chris Burdick, and David Gabrielson
To the Editor:
We write in strong support of three outstanding candidates in Nov. 6 election: Kevin Quaranta for reelection as Bedford town justice and Chris Burdick and David Gabrielson for election to the town board.
Kevin Quaranta, one of the two town justices, has been highly successful in his first term in office. He has handled a huge caseload fairly and justly. Some substantial changes include making the court more accessible with evening session, reform in jury service, to lighten the burden for citizens called to serve and establishment of a student internship and law program to teach our young people about the judicial process Ed worked as an assistant district attorney with Kevin, and has firsthand knowledge of the high regard in which Kevin is held throughout the legal community.
A highly successful trial attorney with more than 25 years of experience, Bedford is fortunate to have such an experienced and even hand serving as town justice. We feel that Chris Burdick and David Gabrielson should be elected as a team. Their hands-on experience and knowledge provide promise for tackling the crisis in water quality and wastewater and other problems confronting the town. In his eight years as chairman of the town’s Wetlands Control Commission, Chris Burdick has learned firsthand about water quality issues. A real estate attorney with over 20 years’ experience, Chris Burdick practices consensus building and compromise to help resolve seemly intractable problems. David Gabrielson is an investment banker who specializes in public finance. He has over 20 years’ experience working with government to meet critical infrastructure needs and manage projects such as water waste sewer facilities, highways, and airports. Chris Burdick and David Gabrielson are the candidates we’ll be voting for on Nov. 6 to provide the fresh new energy, vision, and dynamism that our town needs.
